Guidance & Counselling

The Guidance Team at Cromwell College are here to provide support for students and an opportunity to talk about any worries or concerns they may have in a safe, private and non-judgemental environment. We are fortunate to have a team of three qualified counsellors, who are able to walk alongside our students as they navigate problems they may arise in any area of their lives.

Our Guidance Team are also here to work with whanau as they support their young people throughout the adolescent years. We work closely with an array of local community support agencies, linking students and whanau to these external supports when necessary.

Our Guidance Team frequently supports students navigate a wide range of challenges, including the following:
Anxiety
Stress
Friendships/relationships
Bully and harassment
Low Self-esteem
Sexuality
Goal setting
Drugs and Alcohol issues
Issues at home
