We are proud of the education and the opportunities that we provide for our students and we know that this prepares them well for life beyond school. We pride ourselves on our dedicated staff, excellent facilities, friendly students, and quality programmes set amongst the stunning landscapes of Central Otago.

Strengths noted in our ERO School Profile include:

  • the valuing of contributions from student leadership and positive connections with the school community that is informing ongoing improvement;
  • a senior leadership team and teachers who actively seek new approaches to improve outcomes for all learners: and
  • the school’s commitment to continue to develop flexible pathways for learners – any place, any time, anywhere, to enhance engagement and achievement.

Our whakataukī is Whāia te taumata – pursue the highest peaks and original motto is Deserve Success. We believe that we deserve and earn our success through a culture of respect, courage and the pursuit of personal excellence. A culture of respect creates an environment where we can all learn and succeed.

We are confident that our young people will be well equipped with the skills, mind sets and confidence to thrive in the communities of the 21st century.

Nō reira, tēnā koutou katoa, greetings and welcome.
