Annual Plan Overview

CHARTER AND
STRATEGIC PLAN

Strategic Plan 2025 - 2028

Following community consultation in 2024 the Board of Trustees worked with the Senior Leadership Team to develop a new strategic direction for our kura. Our core purpose is to provide students with “An Outstanding Education” by the provision of courses, programmes and activities which promote the development and enrichment of their academic, physical, social and cultural skills. Our  whakataukī – “Whāia te taumata”  urges us all to pursue the highest peaks and strive for personal excellence.

Annual Implementation Plan 2025

Following consultation with our staff, students and parent community six goals were selected for 2025. The Objectives and Key Results for each of these plans are detailed in the link.

Our Policies

Schooldocs is a website that holds all of our policies and procedures, and is accessible to anyone from our school community at any time.

The Board has also approved guidelines for our Code of Community Conduct,  Vexatious and Persistent Complaints and Fundraising.

To access our Schooldocs Policies is very straightforward.  Click the link:
https://cromwell.schooldocs.co.nz, add the username ‘cromwell’ and password ‘ccpolicy’.

When you first arrive at the home page you will see on the left hand side a list, including a welcome, a parents and whānau section and a list of our policies. There is also a search engine at the top of this section.

If you have never been into Schooldocs before, we would encourage you to have a stroll around. Our recommendation would be to click on the ‘welcome’ link first, for a tour of how to use the site. Next we would suggest you go to the ‘parents and whānau’ section which again has helpful information for using the site, and ‘quick links’ for the most commonly sought sections of our policies for parents and whānau.

Each term the board reviews some policies and procedures. These are found via the green box at the top of the site called ‘current review’. If you click on this, you will find instructions on how to participate in the review, and what policies are up for review in the current term. Many of the policies will not feel especially relevant to parents, however you may have a passion or knowledge in the area up for review, and feedback is always welcome.

At any point, if you are reading a policy or procedure and you feel something needs to be amended or added, if you click on the green ‘speech bubble’ by the print icon at the top right of the page you can share your thoughts with the board.
