Located in the centre of Cromwell, the College is situated on 8 hectares (20 acres) of park-like surroundings. There are extensive grassed areas and a courts complex for netball and tennis. College facilities include a 400-seat auditorium, a full-size modern gymnasium with mezzanine seating for 200 spectators, fully equipped weight room, and a well-stocked library. Adjacent to the College is Cromwell's Anderson Park. The College makes regular use of the park's facilities including the 25-metre indoor pool and the Olympic-sized hockey turf.
Cromwell College Gymnasium
In addition to general purpose classrooms, well-equipped specialist rooms are used for subjects such as art, science, and technology. An extensive network of over 80 computers links all areas of the school together for information technology. Specialist computer facilities are available for students studying graphics, design, photography and video production. Cromwell College also maintains a boating complex on the shores of Lake Dunstan. This facility is home to a modern fleet of yachts, windsurfers and kayaks and is used by Cromwell students and other schools and organisations.
